Boston, MA - September 17, 2025 – Emery Park in Lexington transformed into a vibrant hub of music, dance, and community on August 15th as Kadak Chai performed for the Lexington Summer Concert Series, honoring India’s Independence Day.
From the very first note, the park was alive with energy. A huge crowd gathered, filling the space with cheers, clapping, and voices raised in song. Families, friends, and neighbors came together to celebrate not just music, but also the spirit of freedom and community that the day represents.
The evening was packed with unforgettable moments. When we launched into “Jai Ho!”, the audience erupted in joy — dancing, singing along, and cheering as the iconic anthem brought everyone together in a magical, collective celebration. Later, as the beats of “Ramta Jogi” thundered through the night, Emery Park practically shook with energy. People swayed, jumped, and danced with abandon, making it one of the most electric highlights of the evening.
What made this concert truly special was the connection between the band and the audience. Every clap, every groove, and every smile reminded us why live music is such a powerful force for unity. For us in Kadak Chai, it was pure joy to see the community come alive through the blend of Bollywood melodies and rock energy we love to bring to the stage.
